First Aid
We offer First aid as per the new unit standards. The training is aimed at empowering the learner with knowledge to apply Basic Life support techniques in level 1 ( Unit Standard 119567) and to provide Primary Emergency Care after completion of level 2 (unit standard 120496)
Our training material have been recently updated and approved until 2019.
Safety Representative Skills Program
We are proud to announce that staff from LJB Hygiene have been trained for this program.
The program will empower the Safety rep and safety Committee to understand their functions and equip them with the necessary skills to function in their appointed positions.
The course is over 10 working days. Credits 23 Nominal hours 230.
Safety Watcher Skills Program
The Safety watcher Skills program is designed to equip the school leaver that passed Matric with maths and science with skills that will prepare them for a career in the chemical industry. All training done in English and Learners must be able to speak ,write, read and understand English. The topics covered will enable the learner to function as a Safety watcher during maintenance and construction activities. They will be responsible for the safety of the site where they will be deployed.
The Course is for 10 working days. Credits accumulated will be 23. Nominal hours 230
